The challenge
Model IQ's customers (banks and credit unions) have to prove to regulators that every AI/ML model is documented, validated, and monitored under SR 26-2 (previously SR 11-7), the NIST AI RMF, and ISO 42001. But standing up a single model meant filing an engineering ticket and waiting weeks, and audit prep was a manual scramble every cycle. Non-technical risk officers were blocked on engineers for nearly everything.
What we built
We designed the platform's AI lifecycle so a risk team could own a model end to end, without writing code.
- Mapped out the full AI development lifecycle (POC to validated, monitored, production model) with governance gates built into each stage.
- Built no-code deployment tools so a risk analyst can deploy a POC and configure it for a specific bank without a single engineering ticket.
- Wired compliance in from day one: every model auto-generates audit-ready documentation mapped to the NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and SR 26-2 (previously SR 11-7).
- Ran each institution's models on isolated, cost-aware serverless infrastructure.
The outcome
POCs that used to take weeks now deploy in minutes, with zero engineers in the loop, and audit prep takes roughly 80% less time because the documentation writes itself. Risk teams finally move at the speed of their own ideas.
